According to ShawnByfield “learning to dance is a sure-fire way to attract the opposite sex” a leading expert in dance instruction for adults in Canada. Besides the obvious ability to show off your new dance moves, learning to dance comes with many other romantic benefits. Here’s Byfield’s top 10 tips explaining why dancers make better lovers:

1.) Better Rhythm: Hearing the rhythm of the music directly translates into keeping a better rhythm between the sheets. Women appreciate men who can keep a constant rhythm, which leads to a big… well, you know.

2.) Better Confidence: Learning to dance improves your confidence on and off the dance floor. The #1 most attractive trait about a partner is their confidence level. Boldly use your moves to sweep your partner off the dance floor and bring them… somewhere more private.

3.) Better in Bed: This goes without saying. Watching your partner move well on the dance floor is subconsciously a very sexy indicator of how well they’ll partner with you under the covers.

Im in perfect health all thanks to dance. Last but certainly not least…  I met my wife through dance. So if it wasn’t for dance I wouldn’t have met my wife!

Here is a snippet from an article at www.dancingfitnessexercise.com. “There are many wonderful reasons to dance and they do not all require copious amounts of alcohol and someone with a video camera poised for America’s Funniest Home Videos greatness. If you decide to take lessons for dancing, you will find that you have the ability to meet a bunch of great new people. Dancing is a great way that many people are discovering to have fun and stay fit. This means that more and more people are joining local dance classes for these very reasons. You might develop some lifelong friendships through your dance lessons that you would have missed out on otherwise. Of course there are many more reasons that different people take up dance. In fact, you may find an all-together different reason to take up dance for yourself. Did you know that there is a Day Of Dance on Feb 28.  The national Spirit of Women Day of Dance for Heart Health.  I did not know this, I think this is great.  The joy that comes from dancing can have a profound and wonderful impact on our overall health,” said Susan Hamilton, RN, vice president of Nursing at Iredell Memorial Hospital.  Day of Dance will allow members of the community to gather with doctors, nurses, medical professionals and community leaders to share information on ways to live a heart healthy lifestyle. They will dance and help educate women about healthy choices they can easily incorporate into their lifestyle while learning personal warning signs every woman should know.

Here are Top 5 Ways Dancing Keeps You Healthy and Fit…

1. Cardiovascular Health- Dancing regularly can decrease your blood pressure, and improve your cholesterol profile. Dancing will encourage a healthy circulatory system by making the heart pump faster, producing a strong healthy heart and lungs. You will also have increased stamina!

2. Weight Control- Dance encourages weight control by burning between 200-400 calories during a half hour of sustained dancing. The more energy you put into your dancing the more vigorous your workout becomes and the more calories you burn.

3. Strong Bones- The side to side movements in dance strengthen your weight bearing bones (tibia, fibia, femur), and have shown to increase bone density. Strong bones mean a decreased risk of osteoporosis.

4. Muscle Tone- You can tone your entire body with regular dance exercise. You will build strong, toned muscles and increase in flexibility due to the multidimensional nature of dance. Dance is a great way to improve your balance and posture as well.

5. Build Confidence-Although confidence is an inner feeling, it can reflect clearly in your outside world. Dancing tends to give an aura of self-confidence to those who do it regularly. You will feel a renewed sense of connection, creativity, and motivation that you will carry with you throughout your day!
