I know your wondering if you can make it as a professional backup dancer. Is it realist career choice. Well i here to tell you can do it. Becoming a professional Backup Dancer is a great career. I love it. I just think that you have to beware of the opportunities around you and know the ends and outs of the business. Yes its is great to do something you love on a regular bases but you have to realize that it is also a business. You are your business and you need to carry yourself as such. - Rehearsals $175.00 4hr / $250 8hr
- Shoot Day $550.00 12hr
- Buy out. which could be a 1 time fee
2.) Movies, TV, Commercial (Screen Actors Guild- Union)
- Rehearsal $446.00 a day
- Shoot day $581.00-$$759.00
- Residuals- paid every time the movie, TV show or commercial is being aired.
3.) Award Ceremonies( Bet awars, American Music, grammies etc..
- Rehearsal / shoot $986.00-$1,673.00
4.) Music Artist Tour
- Dancing for a new artist- $1,000.00/1,500.00
